By joining the clan you accept and have to obey these regulations. Breaking them can result in being removed from the Knights of Azeroth permanently. All expelled members will never be accepted again in the clan unless otherwise pardoned by the Clan Lord. In addition, he/she will be added to the ban list of all clan members and in severe cases will be reported to the proper authorities and higher ups of GG-Client depending of the severity of the discretion.
ARTICLE 1 : Code of Conduct SECTION I: Maturity and manners are essential. We don’t tolerate people who lack basic culture. Even if you have a problem with someone there is always a civilized way to solve things. Don't get angry, don't flame, don't yell, trash talk and don't insult. SECTION IV: Everybody hates a quitter. No quitting in a game unless provided with a proper and acceptable reason. Any player reported as a quitter, provided with evidence such as print screens, replays or credible witnesses shall be given due warnings and punishments. SECTION V: This clan is very strict when it comes to Nudging in the clan room. Every nudge must have an interval of at least 5 minutes. A member violating this rule will be given only 1 warning and if he violates it again he will be demoted. If you have something important to tell the members and desperately needs to nudge, you can use the MSN to call their attention instead. SECTION VIII: The Knights of Azeroth clan mandates its members to prioritize studies, work, and girlfriends more than gaming. Always remember that studies are far more important than gaming, again, FAR MORE IMPORTANT THAN GAMING. To reiterate further, SCHOOL / GIRLFRIENDS / WORK IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN GAMES. SECTION IX: Every member is obligated to sign the ATTENDANCE FORUM every time they log-in at GG. This would serve as a basis of monitoring inactive members. A member that is not able to sign in the said Attendance Forum in 7 days will be demoted as Inactive. Members that have been demoted as inactive members due to absence must sign the attendance thread within 3 days. Otherwise, they will be ejected from the clan. Members that have been ejected out of the clan can still join the clan but will be on 1 week probation. A member that has been kicked out of the clan twice due to absence will be permanently be ejected. Members can notify the Organizers if they will be on leave; such as going for a vacation, examination, seminars, etc… SECTION X: Respect is earned not given. Showing respect to all members from Clan Lord to regular members and clan guests is a must. Showing composure in victory and defeat is a sign of Valor. We all hate to lose but cussing or creating problems will not make the loss any better, only make you and our clan look worse. Don't brag after a win; complement your opponent’s strengths. This is how one earns respect. SECTION XI: Knights of Azeroth clan do not tolerate lagged members. Lags give burden not only the lagged member but also to every player he is playing with. It ruins and spoils every game. A member found to have more than 2 bars of ping in most of the games will be put in probationary position or in an inactive member ranking until he resolves his lag issues. However, if the lag pursues he will be forced to leave the clan. SECTION XII: You're a member of The Knights of Azeroth of your own free will; you can always leave it if you don't like it. No one is forcing you to stay here. However, you need to inform the Clan Lord or senior members as a sign of respect and honor. Furthermore, bear in mind that you are leaving one of the most prestigious clan in GG. SECTION XIII: Members are strongly encouraged to be active in the forums, mainly as a mean of communication, information dissemination and also as a mean of increasing the rate by which clan members level up. SECTION XIV: All claims should be supported by evidences such as print screens, replays, or credible witnesses. Otherwise it will only be considered as allegations. SECTION XV: Only clan members are allowed to connect to the ventrilo private server. SECTION XVI: Clan Rules can be revised and ammended by the Clan Lord without prior notice so all members are encouraged to check this Clan Rules site as frequent as possible.
ARTICLE II : Forum Rules
ARTICLE III : Chain of Command The ranks in the clan exist for a reason and should not be taken lightly. People are put to a rank because of their ability to lead, comprehend, and solve matters. Respect your higher ranking clan mates, not because they are better players than you but because they put an effort for the mechanism of the clan to prosper. Each member is eligible for the opportunity to be promoted. However, the creation of this opportunity is entirely up to the individual. If you want a promotion then you must prove yourself. Consideration for promotion depends on several factors: Dedication to the clan, following the rules/chain of command, leadership qualities, maturity level, participation in the community, and their ability to work with and lead a team. Popularity doesn’t even register on the radar in this one so don’t even think about kissing ass, it may actually hurt your chances. Nobody in this clan will receive special treatment, regardless of their age, color, religion, sex, relationships (whether real life friend), rank, or clan contribution points. Everyone is equal in this clan, some of us just have more decision-making responsibilities. We are all bound by the same rules, regardless of any differences. All positions designated by the captain, organizer, examiners or squad leaders are NOT FINAL. They are still to be approved by the Clan Lord and depending on his decision, may change without prior notice.
-CAPTAIN. A Captains is chosen by the Clan Lord on the basis of the leadership abilities, dedication and gaming skills. The Captain serves, more or less, like a personal appointee of the clan lord. He is basically the "administrative second-in-command" of the clan lord, who shall maintain peace & order and unity among members especially during the absence of the clan lord. - ORGANIZER. Each clan is allowed two organizers only. An Organizer is chosen on the basis of his management and coordination skills. He will be handling all clan application matters, will communicate with the Examiners regarding the Practical Tests of applicants and he will be responsible for giving and evaluating the Written Exam of each applicant. - EXAMINER. An examiner is expected to possess good DotA skills, not necessarily an expert but has to have a good grasp of the basic and advanced skills in playing. All Examiner positions are assigned by the Clan Lord. Examiners are chosen on the basis of their gaming skills, dedication to the clan and time spent online. An examiner position is one of the hardest ranks because he is the one responsible for testing each and every applicant in their Practical Test. He spends much of his online time testing applicants rather than playing in clan games or public games. After every practical test of an applicant, an examiner will have to fill-up an evaluation form about the performance of the applicant and submit it to the organizers. - SQUAD LEADERS. Squad Leaders are chosen on the basis of their level of game play and their ability to lead a small group. The squad leader is considered the small captain of their team (a team of 5 clan members including the squad leader) He is assigned to be the one who will practice plays and observe the progress of the clan members' gaming quality. He also serves as the peacekeeper between members (as any member in the clan is expected to be). - ELITE MEMBERS. Elite Members are highly skilled players. A member of the clan is to be promoted to Elite Member once he has reached 1000 Clan Contribution Points and must have jived with all the clan members. An Elite Members can never be demoted unless he violates the clan rules. - MEMBERS. Members are the newbies in the clan, the future leaders and the blood that flows through the clan's veins. Remember that everyone started from being regular Members. - INACTIVE MEMBERS. Inactive means that you are not participating in the clan or haven't logged in for 7 consecutive days. Being demoted as Inactive Member may also serve as punishments for members who violate the clan rules.
ARTICLE IV : Demotion & Expulsion from the Clan SECTION I: Members can be expelled or demoted (depending on the severity of the case) from the clan due to the following reasons: - Defiance and non-compliance of the above stated general clan rules SECTION II: Sanctions for violating the Clan Rules and issues with in the clan will be discussed by the Clan Lord, Captain, and Organizers. Their decision will be final and executory.

Please take time to make our new members feel welcome by saying hello and inviting them to your games. Also take time to be involved in clan events and our message board this is your clan as much as the leader’s. These are the general line and policies of the clan that everyone is bound to. Please understand and comprehend the reason of existence of such laws and regulations. Always have in mind that this is a game and everyone is here to have a good time. In order for this to always be the occasion, all must respect and follow the general guideline cited above.
